PENELCO is reminding all telecommunications and cable service providers regarding the letter issued on April 28, 2026 concerning the immediate relocation of the unidentified line attached to PENELCO poles and crossing the pedestrian footbridge at Vista Mall Bataan.
Despite prior notice, the unidentified line remains in place and continues to obstruct the footbridge area, subject to the requirements of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
All concerned parties are hereby directed to immediately coordinate with PENELCO and complete the necessary relocation works on or before May 15, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
Please be advised that failure to comply within the prescribed period shall constrain PENELCO to take unilateral action, including but not limited to the removal or cutting of the unidentified line, or any other measures deemed necessary to comply with DPWH requirements and ensure public safety.
For the avoidance of doubt, considering that PENELCO has exerted diligent efforts to inform the possible owner of the said lines, PENELCO shall not be held liable for any consequences, damages, or disruptions that may arise from the removal or disconnection of the said line, whether to the owner or to any third party affected.
For immediate coordination and verification, concerned TELCOs and cable providers may contact PENELCO through its official communication channels.
