Armed with skills and brilliance, eight young powerful and vigorous men of Engineering Dept. devoted themselves for the convalescence of those areas affected by Typhoon Unding and Typhoon Winnie. November 23, 2004, Task Force Unding of PENELCO headed by Osmond Suarez with Totoy Abapo, Randy Yumang, Ed Blanco, Joel Baino, Roland Bernabe, Noel Siriban, and Teddy Cruz, took the road that goes into Naga City, Camarines Sur. Their mission, to help CASURECO II in restoring their electrical distribution lines that were totally destroyed by typhoon Unding four days ago (11:00 p.m., Nov. 19, to be exact). They spend ten (10) days of tireless work in that city.
December 13, 2004, same group (except for Mr. Abapo who was then replaced by Mr. Manny Factoran) from PENELCO, this time, gave hands to the victims of Typhoon Winnie. They traveled from Bataan last December 13, 2004 for about one day going to AURELCO, Baler, Quezon, and another day going to the sub offices that are associated to the damaged distribution lines. They came back here in our province at the 21St of the same month.
People must help one another; it is nature's law. The purpose of human life is to serve and to show compassion and the will to help others. Give active help and encouragement.
What the PENELCO people did in those events did not only represent the office but the whole province and the whole people of Bataan as well.
