SEPTEMBER 17, 2004 marks PENELCO a memorable event when the new Bishop of Bataan, Bishop Socrates Villegas, celebrates mass for PENELCO at the Leadership Hall.

The Board of Directors, management staff and all employees who attended the catholic service were high in the spirit during the celebration, as everyone was caught with fascinating homily of the Bishop.

The bliss of the crowd elevated to greater and stronger heights when Bishop Soc accepted the meaningful welcome of the officers and employees to visit in PENELCO. Truly, everyone felt the sincerity and veracity of Bishop Soc as he related his very interesting life towards priesthood; his is indeed unusual, yet, very inspiring, thanks to Bruce Lee (his idol during his younger days), the Bataenos now have a compassionate Bishop.

As frequently mentioned on his talk, he anticipated future invitations to celebrate mass, seeing the same and more faces of PENELCO staff and employees, which in return was positively recognized through the beaming gestures of the crowd.

And as he disclosed, friends who like him call him Fr. Soc, and so, wholeheartedly, PENELCO embraces FR. SOC.
