The Newly Elected Mayor of Pilar, Charlie Pizarro joined the PENELCO Family in the conduct of their Monday assembly lasts August 23, 2004. The PENELCO employees were more than glad to welcome him and so everyone lined up to greet him and to shake hands with him. In his speech, he cited his priority projects in the town of Pilar, such as the conversion of Pilar Public Market into a District Hospital for the benefit of not only the residents of 2nd District of Bataan but for the first district as well.

He also added, that as part of the promotion of Tourism in the Province, he is planning to develop the Dunsulan Falls located somewhere in Pilar. He said that, this is also one of the priority projects of Cong. Albert S. Garcia. When Mayor Pizarro finally appealed for the assistance of PENELCO in the materialization of his projects through electrification, Engr. Loreto A. Marcelino responded positively and gave assurance that PENELCO will always support the projects of local officials of Bataan for the economic growth of the Province which has been his second home.
