PENELCO power bill collection for the month of July 2004 hits P105M. It is the highest ever in the entire Coop collection history. Total collection for the month of July is higher by 17% than the P 88.9M collected last month and P 26.8M (35%) higher than collected amount (P 77,763,891.17) of last year of the same month. Likewise, Coop Average collection efficiency elevated to 94.07% (Jan.-July) much way above from the previous 90.07% efficiency for the same period last year and 89.58% efficiency for the month of June 2004. This indicates the positive response by the member-consumer's to enhance collection drive initiated by the Management led by energetic RGM Engr. LORETO A. MARCELINO, through the unwavering support of the Board of Directors. Distinct approaches and strategies instituted by the Service Centers Supervisors for a no non-sense honest to goodness collection contributed to overwhelming success of this endeavor. But much is to be attributed to untiring and dedicated effort of our bill collectors, meter reader/collectors, tellers and isconnection/maintenance teams for this astounding accomplishment.
Prior to embarking on this project, the Coop conducted massive information to inform the member-consumer's through a series of dialogue in the barangay and local levels. Information leaflet, flyers and the like are printed, distributed and posted to strategic public places. Notices are likewise attached to statement of account of each consumer served by the Coop.
With this achievement, RGM Lerie, lauds and congratulate the employees for a job well done and urge them to continue serving through teamwork, total solidarity and maximum efficiency by providing affordable, efficient and reliable electric service in support to the continued economic progress of Bataan.
