TURN OVER OF NEW SUB TRANSMISSION LINE ASSETS TO PENELCO   Print  E-mail

As part of PENELCO's pursuit of excellence, a turn over ceremony was held last August 17, 2015 for its acquisition of new sub transmission assets. The ceremony took place in the PENELCO Leadership Hall for the transfer of Orion Tap-PNPP 69kV Line, EPZA-Mariveles 69kV Line, Calaguiman Tap-BPPMI 69kV Line and the Morong 5MVA Substation from the National Transmission Corporation (TRANSCO) to PENELCO.

Service Center Supervisors, PENELCO Engineers and Line Maintenance Crew. Starting off with a prayer and the Philippine National Anthem, it is then followed by messages from Dir. Almario Rubia, Mr. Ernesto Daluz, Engr. Napoleon Viterbo and Engr. Jose Arellano (Head of North Luzon Operation and Management), NGCP highlighting the commitment of both parties to help each other provide reliable electric services, after which followed the Ceremonial Toast led by PENELCO Board President Dir. Fernando Manalili and the Transfer of Deed of Possession. The ceremony was concluded by a message from Ms. Soledad Tria, ISDD Manager.

The acquisition of the said sub transmission assets will affect the coop's electric power rate, as the Connection Charges (CC) and Residual Sub Transmission Charges (RSTC) will no longer be a factor now that PENELCO owns the line. Another great step of PENELCO in its commitment to deliver affordable and reliable electric service to its consumers.
