PENELCO CONDUCTS ON-LINE SYSTEM

Last June 17, 2011 a bid opening was held for the Supply of Goods and Services in the Development of an Integrated On-Line System for PENELCO’s Key Operations. The bid started at exactly 2:00 in the afternoon. This project intends to automate the coop’s operations and is geared towards providing fast, reliable and efficient service to member-consumers. Four service providers participated in the bid. The PBAC and Technical Working Group (TWG) will further evaluate their eligibility and technical proposals in order to determine the most responsive lowest bidder. Prior to the bid opening, a pre-bid conference was held last June 3 at the 2nd floor ESD Building wherein clarification, inquiry and consultation was made for the bidders to further understand the scope of the project.
The project is divided into three (3) phases which is expected to be developed and to be fully implemented in a period of one (1) year. The service provider is expected to provide expertise and services in the development and integration of PENELCO’s core systems (software, hardware and services). The assessment and evaluation process of PBAC and TWG is expected to last for a period of one month. |
