The National Electrification Administration (NEA) organized Task Force for this to assist Electric Cooperatives affected by the typhoon. PENELCO thru GM Loreto A. Marcelino was one of the Electric Cooperatives who immediately responded to the urgent need. On October 21, 2010 PENELCO sent 9 competent men namely foreman Naldy Felipe, Noel Siriban, Teddy Cruz, Roderick Rodriguez, Lawrence Macapili, Virgelio Nojadera, Allan Marasigan, Israel Bugay and Mark Cruz to join the task force and they were assigned to Cagayan Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CAGELCO 2). They were equipped with 1-Telelect Truck, 1 elf truck and tools to immediately restore electric power in the assigned area.
