First things first: being a consumer of the COOP doesn’t mean instant membership.

For PENELCO consumers to become members, a membership fee of 5php is all you need. Other requirements include photocopy of valid ID’s and an attachment of the consumers’ latest paid bill plus a pre-membership seminar.

So what are the perks of becoming a member? Being a member comes with the privilege of having the right to vote for the PENELCO Board of Directors which end their terms every three years, joining raffles and events hosted by the COOP and many others.
