With his work dedication, enthusiasm and commitment to initiate programs on his area of responsibility, it is evident that these traits are beginning to reap some benefits-this is precisely how we can describe our featured employee for this month, DENNIS CRISTOBAL FORBES, the newly designated Supervisor of Morong Service Center.

Dennis was born on February 28, 1968 in Manila, the eldest of the three (3) children of Rolando Forbes (former Vice Mayor of Samal) and Evangeline Cristobal. He finished his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Management at the Bataan Colleges in 1994.

He joined PENELCO shortly after he graduated from College, as Warehouse Clerk under the Engineering Services Department. With his 15 years of service in the Coop, he has been given various assignment to prove himself, from casual Warehouse Clerk to Collector to Teller to Liaison Officer and his present position, Service Center Supervisor.

As Dennis recalled his early years with PENELCO, he stated “I feel fortunate for being able to perform other functions which entails accounting skills when I was assigned as Teller then”. He was also very thankful to GM Marcelino for being his confidante and mentor and for appreciating his work and even limitations. He admires his work style.

Despite of his hectic work schedules, he still have quality time with his family. He is happily married to former Madonna Diwa, a Bataeña, whom he first met at PENELCO as student-trainee then. Their reunion was blessed with two (2) children, Deniele Joseph (9) and Timothy James (4).

He also stresses to his co-employees to support the Coop as it is the key to success. We should focus on where we can add value beyond our boundaries. “I am glad to be here in PENELCO”.
