The PENELCO family has once again pulled it off. This year Summer Outing was held at White Rock Beach Resort in Subic, Zambales last May 16, 2009.

More than 230 employees joined this fun-filled activity, which significantly built new bonds particularly to the newly elected Board of Directors.

It is the coop’s best practice to further boost the morale and revive the energy of the employees. Lots of games were lined up for the whole morning after a sumptuous barbecue buffet lunch, the employees enjoyed the beach and the water sport facilities inside the resort.

The employees joined the different outdoor games like beach volleyball, hoola-hoop race and tug-of-war as it promotes team spirit. The games taught everyone on how to achieve a common goal as a team as compared to individual accomplishment.

The summer outing as a whole was successful in giving the employees a chance to play the games, relax for a day from their daily work routine or just enjoy the sea breeze, the warm heat of the sun and the place itself.

It certainly achieved its purpose of bringing the whole PENELCO family together and keeping it united despite of the challenges and hard times that the coop had experienced in the past year.
