Nineteen years of continued service to the greater population of Bataan saw PENELCO in its superb state as of yet. Continuing to live its Vision – To be an electric utility of excellent service, fully supported by its memberconsumers - and fulfilling its Mission - To contribute significantly to the progress of Bataan by providing adequate, affordable and high quality electric service - the cooperative finds ways to further enhance its services for the betterment of the lives of the people in the province.Putting its best efforts in looking for more effective consumer-related services and discovering new techniques that can pave way for development are of the best weapons in the cooperative’s arsenal thus, making the cooperative firm in achieving its goals.
In its nineteen years of existence, the cooperative’s rehabilitation and maintenance projects on poles, service lines, substations, etc. contributed a lot in maintaining the intact flow of electricity to the individual consumer’s households. As a response to these advances, the cooperative is subsequently bagging recognitions and awards from different institutions. To add to the growing awards of the cooperative are: Most Outstanding EC, Most Outstanding Board of Directors, Most Outstanding General Manager, and Category A+ for a Mega Large EC. Furthermore, the cooperative is currently maintaining a continuously decreasing system loss at 9.8% alongside maintained collection efficiency with an average of 92%.
PENELCO will continue to struggle for improvement to satisfy the needs of its memberconsumers with its prompt, reliable and efficient electric service at a low cost. With the advanced substations and service centers, the full support of the memberconsumers and the provincial and local officials, the hard work of the employees and the Board of Directors, PENELCO will continue to protect the welfare of the populace of the province and will tackle new challenges head on as a self-reliant electric cooperative and see more years to come. |
