As of January 2009, PENELCO registered a total purchase of P22.7 gigawatthours (GWH), total sales of 18.5GWH, 46.5

megawatts (MW) of non-coincident peak demand, 96 percent power factor and 60 percent load factor for its entire

franchise area. Total installed capacity is 110MVA distributed in all 12 city/municipalities of the Province of Bataan.

On the same basis, the Engineering Services Department rehabilitated a total of 0.300 kilometers of single phase (1Ø) distribution line, 0.300 kilometers of underbuilt line and 0.060 kilometers of open secondary line. This

activity includes the replacement of damaged poles/accessories and replacement of undersized and dilapidated wires. Likewise, total extended distribution line for the far flung barangays/sitios is 0.878 kilometers
of three phase (3Ø) line, 3.456 kilometers of two phase (2Ø) line, 1.920 kilometers of single phase (1Ø) line, 0.686 kilometers of underbuilt and 2.578 kilometers of open secondary line.

On-going activity is the construction of 9 kilometers of 69 kilovolt sub-transmission line for the energization of new Pinulot Substation in Dinalupihan.
