Showing UNITY, Penelco employees, all in red shirt performed a synchronized line dancing to welcome Fr. Silva (Presidential Adviser on Rural Electrification) and NEA Lights and Sounds. The tremendous presentation marked the start of a significant event last Aug. 22, 2008. Streamers and party poppers hailed the guests as well.

A gathering was set up at the Leadership Hall awaits the guests. The program started as emcees Mr. Melanio Banzon III & Maria Liza Samson glad handed everyone. Giving more bangs to the festivity, the Penelco employees danced to the tune of "Electric Dreams" led by Kelly Medina, a Penelco employee and accompanied by Penelco Band.

Swaying hand in hand, it was followed by singing of Fr. Silva’s dearest song "Love Me With All of Your Heart". Also in observance with Penelco’s tradition, August Celebrators were set off to a blowout, in tandem with the Penelco Dance Troupe. They astonished the guests as they showed off their talents in dancing. Highlighting the event was the appearance of the arising new Penelco’s child star Ishi. Evidently, Fr. Silva, NEA Lights & Sounds, along with Ms. Johnna Dizon, of Administrative Division & the proud mother of Ishi applauded for the child’s performance as she showcased her talents. This then captured Fr. Silva’s heart as she was offered to have a visit in CEBECO, Fr. Silva’s home based cooperative.

The presence of Ms. Edita Bueno was also felt when a phone patch was conducted to allow her to convey the message of unity to all employees. In line with the mission of imparting oneness & solidarity, Fr. Silva presented video clips that disclose the message of wholeness which will hold Penelco employees united.

Entertained by the performances and enlightened by the words of wisdom from Fr. Silva, the employees and guests shared a sumptuous dinner to live up the spirit of harmony, unity and total solidarity.

In all, the visit was not just a visit, but a very significant event that boosted the morale and uplifted the spirit of the whole Penelco family. Till next
