The Asian Energy Week is an annual event were the energy experts in the greater Asian region meet. This year event was participated by more than 700 attendees in the region. Topics simultaneously discussed were Metering, Transmission and Distribution and Energy Efficiency Technologies. Speakers present practical case studies including distributions from different utilities in Asia and Europe. The event also includes international exhibition showcasing the latest products and services.

Engr. Zaldivar attended the forum on Metering Technology. The discussion includes the Global Smart Metering (in Europe, Netherlands, Australia,  Canada and Japan), Data Management and Billing (in New Zealand, Meralco, Malaysia, Hongkong, India and USA), and Automatic Meter Reading/(AMR/AMM) Strategies and Technologies (in Thailand, Switzerland, Singapore, Russia and Slovenia). It discussed the integration of diverse systems of simplify operational and commercial processes and also the most advanced metering.
