My concept of PENELCO Before and Now

It was ten or sixteen years ago when I had this kind of impression towards PENELCO/BATELCO. For me, "corruption" is how I could give a picture of this cooperative. I remembered how brown-outs excessively and frequently occurred in the province during that time. At my young age, I could tell the situation was as "bad as hell", as manifested thru their inefficient services likewise lack of rapport between employee and member/consumers, thereby resulting to miscommunication and mismanagement of the operation.Today, PENELCO is equipped with high end emplo-yees that are willing to serve and provide the best service that they can give. Likewise, I see PENELCO as a fast growing company that is service oriented. In fact, the management is laying out help for other electric cooperatives stricken by calamities. PENELCO is also recognized being a 1st Class electric cooperative as a result of the employees' respect and unity in achieving a common goal to succeed. |
