Fernando Ponce y Jaring or Nanding to his family and known also as FPJ from his initials, for his work associates, was born in the beautiful and humble town of Hermosa last March 10, 1959. He is the third of the five children of the late Teodoro Ponce and Lunita Jaring. According to his "Inang" (mother), he is the best-looking among his siblings. Truly, his great looks, with his cute dimples every time he smiles and his kindness make this man very attractive and appealing to the ladies.

FPJ fnished primary education in 1972 at Hermosa Elementary School. For high school, he went to Bataan National School for Filipino Craftsmen and completed it in 1976.

From 1982-1990, he was a Lineman/Driver of BATELCO. He re-applied and was rehired as a Lineman by PENELCO in May 1990. Due to his exemplary performance and commendable service, he attained the Foreman position in November of the same year. He was assigned in Dinalupihan SC from 1996-2003 and was transferred as the Foreman of Orani SC then up to present.

FPJ exemplifies a very hardworking, dedicated and a rule abi-ding employee. For 17 years, he has not violated any office procedures, he actively participates in all the Co-op's activities and he is very supportive in attaining the Co-op's mission and vision. In fact, being a frontliner in an electric cooperative, he shows excellent customer service in dealing with the consumers.

He is happily married to Ofelia Quiambao, a lovely maiden of Hermosa. He is very grateful and proud of his three children, namely: Frances Ophelyn, a possible Bb. Pilipinas contestant and a 4th year Civil Engineering student; Faye Anne, a graduating high school student; and Fernando Jr., also a high school student.

Resembling the characteristics and personality of his idol, "Da King", our FPJ is very friendly, good natured, kind, compassionate and generous to his friends, co-employees and neighbors. As much as he can help out in his own little way, he will help a friend in need.

Nanding or FPJ stresses out to prioritize our family above all. He says, "am sure that we are all busy working hard for them but we must not forget that all of these would be non-sense when the family members have lost the warmth of their love for one another. So let us always spend quality time with our loved ones and always guide our children towards the right direction".
