PENELCO Limay 10MVA Power Substation Energized

 The recently completed 10 MVA Substation was formally energized on November 28, 2003 and simultaneously, newly constructed buildings such as Leadership Hall, Solidarity Hall and Harmony Hall were blessed by Fr. Edel Pomer. Secretary Vince Perez of Department of Energy was invited to grace the said occasion as the Guest of honorOn the said affair, Sec Perez congratulated PENELCO Board of Directors, Management and staff for the remarkable achievements of the coop, making it as an Emmanuel Pelaez Awardee and hence the Most Outstanding Electric Cooperative in the Philippines for the 2nd time around. Likewise the Board of Directors bagged the award as the Most Outstanding BOD in the Philippines. Because of so many blessings of PENELCO, a thanksgiving conducted on the said date.
The AGM of PENELCO, Engr. Marcelino attributed the success of PENELCO to the full support of the member- consumers especially the provincial and local government Officials of Bataan, headed by Gov. Leonardo Roman who also graced the said occasion. Mayor Abet Garcia, the very dynamic supporter of PENELCO was also invited and congratulated the whole Penelco workforce for its outstanding performance.
Cong. Tony Roman also gave a congratulatory message through phone patch.
On that same day the PENELCO Board of Directors headed by Dir. Danilo Ricardo handed to Sec. Vince Perez a check amounting to P10.4 million as PENELCO amortization payment to NEA. |
