Last February 15, a party for the February-born people and the post- valentine celebration was held here in Penelco compound.

As part of Penelco's habits , we have the monthly birthday celebration . Party includes of course the presentation ( like dances) of the celebrators themselves. But this time, it's a little different, because it's a Hearts' month , Penelco employees, Management and staff and Board of Directors wore their red tops, to feel the message of the season.

Starting the afternoon program right, a warm invocation was led by the Board of Director Carlito Enriquez from the District of Balanga. His gratifying prayer was for the safety of Penelco working force, the General Manager's endearing effort for the success of Penelco today and always. It was then followed by a National Anthem.

The Opening remarks were from the District of Orion, Dir. Lilibeth Fuster. Very enthusiastic she appeared and  speaks emphasis on the sponsors of February (January) that gave way and made the celebration of February possible. The lady persuasively speaking explained her wisdom about the seasons called Valentine/Hearts' day. According to her, the theme of the occasion is giving out and expressing love to anyone regardless of who the person is. Expressing it through compassion and empathy, that we shall never stop doing good to others, make everyday a Valentine's day!

Directors Boc Santos and Florencio Villaruz from the District of Hermosa and Limay respectively gave their greetings and love for the February -born people extending out their, concern for the lovers of the month.

Another witty, female Board of Director coming from the District of Samal, Madam Generosa “Gene” Malibiran brought out inspiring messages, that valentine is the bestowing of what we called “love”. - “Loving every body everyday, equally, unconditionally, that we shall all pray to the Almighty for the peaceful heart and mind so that we could live happily with no bitterness in our hearts, or bitterness to anyone.” As generous as her name, as scrupulous as her beliefs.

And lastly,  Director from the District of Dinalupihan, Director Fer Manalili. A public servant gentleman talks about the Penelco’s relationship with its member-consumers, that we, Penelco workforce shall maintain our good to best treatment/service. “using our hearts everyday, he added.

After the remarkable and significant phrases, the much-awaited special presentation of the Celebrators has begun. The post-valentine party headed by the newly-hired, very young and well-versed employee none other than Mr. Melanio Banzon, Jr., He has shown his leadership to the extremely admirable, his ideas did work very well, the games, the food and the party everyone had enjoyed - all the way until night.
