Mr. Juanito M. Potes, Jr. was born in Olongapo City, a first-class highly urbanized city in the province of Zambales last May 28, 1960. He is the third offspring in the brood of six of Juanito Potes, Sr. and Claudina J. Mesa, who are both residents of Olongapo Clty.

Regarding his educational background, he completed his primary education at East Bajac-Bajac Elementary School, Olongapo City in 1973 and continued his secondary education at Luacan High School, Dinalupihan, Bataan in 1977. He took up a vocational course in Electronics and Electrical Technology at Dona Josefa, Olongapo City in 1978.

To financially help his parents and siblings, he willingly started working at the age of 18. He worked with various projects inside the US Naval Base in Subic Bay, where he acquired the proper training and knowledge in becoming a highly-skilled electrician. He learns and adapts quickly all the skills related to his field of work. Thus, he did not have a hard time applying for work in the Middle East.

As a legitimate local of Olongapo, he has the spirit of volunteerism. He started as a volunteer Lineman at Penelco Abucay Service Center in October 1990. Thereafter, he was assigned to different Service Centers performing various tasks of the Maintenance Crew. His skills and dedication in his work and good rapport with his co-employees are just among the good qualities that Mr. Potes possesses. At present, he is the Foreman of Balanga Service Center, for which, he is taking it as a big challenge to his career considering the growing number of member-consumers they are serving.

Jun" epitomizes the traditional Gemini traits... jack of all trades - evidenced by the different tasks assigned to him. He is best described by his colleagues as a "Man of Action" as he takes immediate response on emergency calls. These are the characteristics that help him in surpassing all the trials and challenges that he will face in the future.

He is happily married to Angelita Dominguez, a charming Bataena (Abucay) and they are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Jbee and Mary Ann. Jun is enjoying the company of his 2 energetic grandchildren, who are his inspiration.

Lastly, he expresses that his work principle can be summarized as, "Enjoy your work, even if the sifuation appears to be difficult!"

Kudos to a very hardworking and highly-skilled electrician!
