Lakbay Aral was resumed last February 1, 2007 after its last schedule in 2004, wherein 35 Penelco employees (those hired from mid-2004 to present) had the opportunity to visit 11 Service Centers (SC) and its friendly staff. The group started from Pilar SC going up to the newly constructed Pinulot SC. In Orani SC, Engrs. Jo Manrique, Cris Cruz and Norbie Castro, headed by the PSSD Manager, Engr. Tony Paguio, presented an overview on how PENELCO draws power from NPC/Transco 69kV lines, stepping down to utilization voltage of 240 volts. Then, the participants stopped from lunch in Subic and immediately proceeded to Morong SC and lastly, Bagac SC.The standardized structure of all the Service Centers signifies the unity and identity of the Cooperative. Every SC is well-lit, very comfortable, has clean restrooms and a great lawn with a gazebo, where every employee can relax, unwind and relieve the stress of every day's hectic work schedule. The SC is designed for the consumer to feel welcomed and relaxed when paying bills or transacting other concerns. It is also intended to provide a cozy workplace - for the employees to become pleasant and accommodating when attending to the consumer's need. Truly, this year's Lakbay Aral has achieved it purpose - to keep Penelco employees posted on the development in every Service Centers and to foster camaraderie among its personnel. |
