May 29, on behalf of ORMECO family Dir. AUDEL ARAGO, (Board Member Naujan District) joined the group of taskforce and visited PENELCO. He personally congratulated GM Loreto A. Marcelino, PENELCO General Manager for the job well done. He was very sincere in giving plaque of appreciation for the hardworking, dedication and commitment rendered by our taskforce for the immediate rehabilitation of power lines. The Batangas Electric Cooperative Inc. (BATELEC 1 &11) was also requested by NEA to join the OPLAN -CALOY. The abrupt energization was made possible through their combined effort and solidarity. He mentioned that without the help of the two electric cooperatives, it will take around 5 months to completely energize their power lines. He even told that PENELCO and BATELEC 1 &11 made a vital role in the operation and earliest restoration of their power supply especially to the Municipality of Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.

May 31, 2006, Dir. Arago on his way back home formally requested Madam Edita S Bueno, NEA Administrator and GM Marcelino to send back same group of our taskforce and give another extension of two weeks to properly expidite and electrify other unelectrified barangay brought by typhoon Caloy. And as expected, request was immediately granted.

The team leader taskforce who participated and joined the OPLAN -CALOY were Joey Bantugan, Michael Angelo Vitug, Rustico Abapo Arnel Rodriguez, Naldy Felipe and group of project employees of PENELCO. Again, CONGRATULATIONS to all the leading heroes of PENELCO and BATELEC. Your hardwork and dedication bring significant effect to the performance of our coop. God Bless and more power to all of you.
