After the district elections of 11 Municipalities and 1 City of the Board of Directors, the new set is facing a challenging role. We all know that with seven members of the board, PENELCO was repeatedly lauded nationwide because of its "almost" excellent management and operation. What's up with the twelve (12)? Nine of whom are newly elected namely: Atty. Jose Michael Operario of Mariveles, obviously armed with lawful know-hows; Mr. Alberto Villaruz, who served unselfishly as Municipal Councilor; from Orion, I'm an early nurse retiree and a cooperative leader; Mr. Carlito Enriquez of Balanga, a fatherly coop buddy and once an employee of BATELCO; Pilar has a Mechanical Engineer Director in the person of Raffy Pizarro; Director Modesto Salandanan of Abucay is also an Engineer major in electrical; a Lady Industrial Engineer and Contractor from Samal, Mrs. Gene dela Fuente; Dir. Gerry A. Calimbas of Morong is a Commerce Graduate and Intrepreneur while Dir. Danilo C. Santos of Hermosa is concurrently a Brgy. Captain of A. Rivera, Hermosa. To add the three "veterans" - Vice President Danilo Ricardo of Bagac, Board Secretary Fernando Manalili of Dinalupihan and President Nerissa Medina of Orani.
With a dozen of heads in different expertise, naturally we are now expecting a goodlier-set. Apprehensions maybe at hand but merely equipped with enthusiasm and aggressiveness in learning of how PENELCO can be of more service to our consumer members and at the same time, acknowledging their ownership.
We envision quality and genuine benefit for the General Assembly, reflective of the undying Loyalty and perseverance of our employees for the betterment of PENELCO through peaceful means.
KUDOS, Good Luck & God be with us! |
