A multi-talented and hardworking employee of Penelco, the icon of fun and joy to his officemates, friends and family, a well loved impersonator of characters -"Darna" and "Miss Universe and our very own BAPA Section Head, no other than our Editor-in-Chief for this month's newsletter's issue, MR. JOSELITO ENRIQUEZ IZON.

Joselito or "Tolits" as fondly called by his relatives and colleagues, is a native of Calaylayan, Abucay Bataan. He was born on August 2, 1968 to Dominador Izon and the former Leonida Enriquez. He is the youngest in the brood of 6.

Izon's childhood days is an open book to many. As a child, he experienced different challenges. He worked hard to be able to pursue and finish his studies. He is a graduate of Abucay North Elementary School batch 1981. He finished his secondary education at Bonifacio Camacho High School in 1985. And in 1989, he gained his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bataan Community Colleges.

After gaining his college degree, he was so eager to find a job to help his parents. He worked as a trainee of Mariveles Savings and Loan Bank from October 1989 up to March 1990. He also served as a cashier of Farmacia San Jose from August 1990 to February 1991.

On August 01, 1991, he entered cooperative service. He worked as a trainee collector of PENELCO at Orani Service Center with 50 pesos per day allowance. He was an example of an employee that truly rose through the ranks. He obtained his permanent status on March 26, 1992. He held different positions such as; Collector, General Services Aide, Training Officer, Member Development Officer and BAPA Section Head.

Mr. Izon traveled all over the country to attend seminars and workshops to further enhance himself and to better serve our member-consumers. He attended Secretarial Proficiency Course II, Seminar on PIP/REP, Workers Institute on Labor Law and Leadership, Culture and Management Seminar Workout.

Its so ironic that there is a TV commercial, whose the character's name is Tolits" stating the line "lage na lang ako.... ako... lage na lang ako!" It is safe to say that this man also has the right to say those lines. Why? He is a lead vocalist of our PENELCO band, he contributes to our newsletter, he is a regular master of ceremony during affairs and occasions and he is also a member of PENELCO dancers. Truly, Tolits is a busy man yet so fulfilled on his chosen career.
