It is the PENELCO's pride to break new ground the project since in no time, the entire province of Bataan will be the first to be fully-wired in the country analogous to PENELCO's pioneering to have fully energized 100% of the whole barangays of Bataan in 1997.

In the said venture, there will be no investment on the part of the cooperative; its share will be the existing electrical lines wherein the signal shall pass through.

While it is true that the immediate goal of the project is to strengthen the education of the youth, however, during the process, it is expected that the following benefits shall come across also: (a) employment for the populace of Bataan; (b) income generation to the whole province through taxes; (c) advancement of the revenue of the province; (d) promotion of the tourism; (e) improvement of the operations of the co-op i.e. on-line billing; (f) progress of the revenue of the co-op that eventually will lower the electric rates; and (g) high quality internet service to the people of Bataan at reasonable prices. These benefits and considering the innovations prompted the Board of Directors to approve entering into JVA, at once. (acgonzales)
