Signing of MOA with NOCECO, CAGELCO II, CENPELCO and Nextream Tecnology Inc.

NOCECO, CAGELCO II, and CENPELCO signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Nextream Technology Inc. further propagating the technology of Broadband over Power Lines. Formally binding the said electric cooperatives to services entailed in the BPL technology which are: (1) internet connection, (2) telephone, and (3) cable TV.Board President Mr. Benjamin Agatep (CAGELCO II), GM Gabriel Tordesillas (CAGELCO II), Board President Mr. Jose Nicanor Espinosa (NOCECO), GM Ben Canlas (NOCECO), Board President Mr. Arturo Magalong (CENPELCO), GM Edgardo Piamonte (CENPELCO) represented their respective coop's in signing the MOA. NEA Administrator Ms. Edita Bueno cited that the BPL website should not only promote BPL but also the electric cooperative and rural electrification as well. |
