NANCY BALUYOT STO. DOMINGO, simply called Nancy, was born on December 22, 1969 and grew up at Arellano, Orion, Bataan. Her proud parents are Mr. Elfred Guzon Sto. Domingo and the former Elma Quicho Baluyot. Being the only child and the first granddaughter in her mother's side, she was regarded as the youngest member of the Baluyot Family. She spent most of her life in Orion where she was able to acquire her primary and secondary education. After finishing Highschool, she then enrolled at University of Baguio, where she took up Bachelor of Science major in Accountancy.
In December 1990, several months after her graduation, she was very fortunate to be hired by PENELCO and be part of the Finance Department. Because of her dedication and hardwork, Mr. Efren Gungon, the Finance Manager at that time, recommended her for permanent employment starting January 25, 1991. She then rose from Acting Bookkeeper I to junior Auditor and then to Senior Auditor, a supervisory level position that she held since January 2000. The degree of her promotion within such period of time attests to her very satisfactory performance and commitment to the Cooperative.
Being in PENELCO gave her an opportunity to widen her horizon, wherein she was able to attend the various training and seminars, which were held in the different parts of the country. Along with fellow employees, she was one of the 1st batch of the Singles for Christ - Bataan Chapter who graduated on October 15, 1994. Her athletic abilities were fully utilized in every PENELCO Sportsfest wherein she play dart, volleyball and bowling. Just recently, she was part of the Doubles Women Team who emerged as Champion in the 1st Badminton Competition held in the Main Office Compound. She was also a nature lover and along with her friends, "Ang Kable", she was able to travel to several attractive places in Luzon.
She spends her spare time together with her family and playing with her cousins. Her motto in life is to do her best in everything she does.
Truly, PENELCO is so blessed to have an asset like Ms. Sto. Domingo, a dedicated and proficient employee. |
