Gov. Tet Garcia celebrates birthday at PENELCO with September celebrants “Disco Fiasco”

It's the start of the -ber months again and Christmas is just around the corner. Here in PENELCO we won't be left behind in the fun and laughter, as this month's celebrants showcased their dancing prowess to the tune of I'm Gonna Get Your Love and One in a Million with Lito Izon as Ms. Universe 2005. They also had an interpretation of the 12 Days of Christmas through a symbolic gift giving o f employees hoping to receive incentives this season which solicited amusement from the audience. In attendance were: Gov. Tet Garcia, a co-celebrant, Dir. Reynaldo Valencia (Samal-Abucay), and Dir. Nerissa Medina (Hermosa-Orani). For his message Gov. Tet shared that we, Filipinos tend to react to external stimulants and are reactive to situations. It may be wiser for us to become proactive and organized in planning to have a foresight of probable incidents in our work and life as a whole. He was also thankful for the support that he gets from PENELCO. Dir. Valencia for his part greeted the birthday celebrants while Dir. Medina cautioned the PENELCO staff to carefully explain the effects of E-VAT to the consumer/members as this piece of tax measure would greatly affect our industry.
By and large this month's bash was a success, kudos to the October celebrants for hosting the affair, the PENELCO band for rendering some songs, and the PENELCO family for actively participating in the program. (liza dela fuente) |
