PENELCO acquired new equipment   Print  E-mail
PENELCO has just purchased the latest state of the art substation equipment, the CGM COSMOS switch gear made by ORMAZABAL. This equipment will be used for the newly built substations in Hermosa and Pilar.

The new ORMAZABAL system is composed of a set of reduced size modular cubicle which can be used for different secondary power distribution. Unlike the old switch gears installed in its existing substations, which required big space to set up, this new equipment only requires a minimal space. This new equipment, promises easier handling and installation as well as safe and simple operation. It also has features for future extendibility for additional units.

Acquiring such equipment to modernize its substations, PENELCO proves to be true to its commitment of continually improving the quality of their service to its consumers. (Norbie Castro)
