The purpose was to have exchange of ideas, to study and learn from each other and therefore to further improve operation and electrical services to member-consumers. It was really a fruitful venture because aside from learning, the group had a chance to experience the feel of the beautiful spots and historical places of Ilocos and Cagayan.

The GM's and staff of said coops were all very accommodating especially GM Gabby Tordesillas, Blandi Madamba, Engr Edwin and Engr. Rudolf of CAGELCO II and also GM Romillas Pascual of INEC.

The group had a chance to go the site of the 15 North Wind Mills and see the computerized control room of the said wind mills. They also saw the apparatus inside the very huge poles and saw the actual operation of the Wind Mills. The North Wind is a big power producing company which is supposed to generate electricity to serve a big portion of Luzon and Manila. (By: Sol Tria)
