Engr. Yanga or simply Edgar for his family and friends, was born on October 11, 1969. He graduated from the Technological Institute of the Philippines in 1990 with a BS Electrical Engineering degree.

As a young graduate, he initially applied as a Trainee at the National Power Corporation. His dedication to work was considered by NPC for hiring him as a blue-collar worker. Then on, he never stopped dreaming for a better professional life.

With the skills and competence he has developed prior to his work experience, undoubtedly, he became more equipped workman. Hence, he tried his luck at our cooperative and was given a chance to work as a Trainee-Lineman on February 17, 1992. Then promptly, he performed various tasks from a Substation Tender to a Lineman and then to the OIC of the Design and Staking Section.

Engr. Yanga at length got his promotion as Chief of the Design and Construction Division in September of 1993. As such, he was exposed to more technical trainings on Maintenance and Engineering of Substation, Protective Relaying, Seminar on Distribution Line, Design and Staking, Application of Software on DX System Analysis & Evaluation and Technical Department Managers Convention.

Free from work, he engaged himself into social and community activities. He is a member of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE) - Bataan Chapter. Likewise, his pastime includes playing basketball and tennis.

He is married to former Lolita Manalili, who also works in our cooperative as a Teller for more than a decade now. The couple is blessed with lovely children (3 girls) Royz (11 years old) a Grade V student, Ritz, (8 years old) a Grade 2 student and Rayz ( 2 years old).

Edgar expresses his joy being so contented with his life, having a stable work, blissful marriage and a happy family - not just having beautiful children but also gifted ones. (BY  A. GABRIEL)
