Said program is an on-going partnership of NEA and MERALCO Management & Leadership Development Center (MMLDC) for almost 2 years now.

The seminar was conducted at an ECs site (PENELCO Leadership Hall) last April 7-8, 2005 by the MMLDC Consultants headed by Mr. Alexander Kibanoff and Ms. Marites Valerio as the Training Facilitator.

Kibanoff on his lectures used anecdotes, historical references as well as poem and song interpretations to convey with his audience-participants. As observed, everyone responded favorably to the seminar.

The course provides the employee-participants the basic foundation on the principles of delivering effective communication, likewise, on how to use creative presentation /facilitation techniques to improve effectiveness as a speaker.

Opening remarks was delivered by Mrs. Sol Tria, ISDD Manager while GM Marcelino gave his closing remarks, particularly citing the MMLDC's effort for their invaluable services thru a scholarship program for electric cooperatives.

PENELCO in accepting this program would certainly served as the overall coordinator for this activity should other ECs decide to have the same undertakings in the near future.
