Tita Minervs or Sister Gold to her colleagues, was considered a pioneer in this cooperative. She was already an employee of the BATELCO in the year 1979 as Officer-in-Charge of Limay SC until she became a Warehousewoman before the old coop foreclosed in 1990.

When PENELCO started its operation in 1990, she re-applied and was accepted to work. She started as Head of Warehousing Section and later became the Chief then.Years later, she was designated as the Acting Chief of the Member Services Division under the Institutional Services Development Department and later was confirmed for the position.

She believes that her exposures acquired both from BATELCO and PENELCO, allowed her to learn the dynamics in familiarizing herself to warehouse works. Hence, became easy for her to adjust when she was moved to the MSD.

Mrs. Guinto, although of age, still has the zest for life. She enjoys being with her grandchildren, who currently lives with her. She adores them dearly. Her passion is to share her faith in God in every living soul who would listen. She practices strong relationship with God, her Breath of Life. Integrity is one quality that describes this woman. As he puts it, "Walk your Talk" or "Mean what you say, and say what you mean." Mrs. Guinto loves to impart devotional messages during Monday Assembly and likewise, coordinates for a weekly bible study at the office for PENELCO employees.

Further, she is currently the assistant of Dr. Solita Evangelista in her ministry in Orion. Kind hearted and giving, she extends financial help to different Gospel ministries, missions and ministers.

She is happily married to Fermin Guinto, who is working abroad. She is proud for raising her children in a life focus to simplicity and closeness to God. Aside from her husband, her children namely, Joy (38), Bobby (37), Cecile (35) and Alex (27) are the source of her joy. (BY A. GABRIEL)
